Introduction to "Sun in Cancer"

In last months Astrology "Sun in Gemini" I guaranteed readers that "everything" in your life was going to change and sure enough there have many considerable changes in all our lives. However, most of these fundamentally important changes have occurred deep WITHIN us; we have given our lives an introspectively honest look and things we haven't liked - we have deleted from our lives.

Each of us has had powerful intuitive moments and great ideas of how to change ourselves; and in our minds and thoughts we have done a lot of work; some of us have just thought about making changes, some have moved onto the next level and talked about making changes and some of us have actually DONE and MADE REAL life changes.

Whatever stage of "change" you are up to; these "changes" now have solid roots and foundations within your mind and thoughts; you have decided exactly what you need to be, but for some reason some people haven't yet risked exposing themselves to the outside world in fear of not being accepted nor understood. The "feeling" to declare your truthful inner thoughts hasn't yet arived but it soon will !

The next 30 days whilst "Sun is in Cancer" - you will get an overwhelming positive feeling to EXPOSE yourself truthfully; you will no longer be able to contain your newfound inner truths and thoughts; and the powerful astrological events in the next few weeks will force you to unveil the "new you".

When you do expose the "new you", it will feel like throwing away an old dark heavy smelly winter coat and putting on a brand new light and colorful summer jacket. People will look at you and wonder is this the same you; some won't like it and others will; old friends will feel uncomfortable with the "new you" whilst new friends will be attracted to the "new you".

As you can see from the astrological charts the next 30 days will bring release of stressful situations and eliminate a lot of frustrations; the release of tension will then allow-in many unexpected good surprises making life considerably more pleasant and enjoyable.

There will be a few bumpy moments in all our lives as people will fight to manipulate or control situations; each of us will have to accept and walk away from something draining in our lives; but the reward for letting go will easily outweigh the temporary loss.

21st June: Sun enters Cancer at 18:16 GMT; The reason I have uploaded this page early is that the moment the Sun enters Cancer on Tuesday afternoon; there are going to be many sudden changes; everyone's mood will change for the better; and some aspects of your life which seemed as though they were never going to change - will now FEEL like they ARE going to change - you will SENSE a very profound sudden change in your feelings and suddenly you will become very optimistic about life - this is giving you a "sign" of the exciting events that will be happening in the next 30days - just wait and see - I promise you !

22nd June: Sun 0°50 Cancer trines Neptune 0°50 Pisces ; the highest and most powerful energy we can experience in this physical world is when we FEEL connected to the pure Eternal Divine Spiritual World; for it gives us reassurance that no matter what people think of us, criticize, destroy and negate any aspects of our physical existence; we are accepted by GOD and well connected spiritually.

Materialism and spirituality are diametrically opposing energies; wherever there is an emphasis on money - there is an equal and opposing lack of spirituality.

The destructive energy of Mars in Gemini would usually allow someone to say something destructive and stop you from moving forward. However, today is different as there is an overriding powerful energy of Neptune in Pisces trines Sun in Cancer - therefore when someone says something critical of you today - you will simply IGNORE them - not pay any attention to their meaningless materialistic nonsense. Instead you will meander off in your mind and thoughts - preferring to remain attached and connected with your spirituality instead of wasting energy talking with a "waste-of-space".

Such good days like today are great opportunities to "find" yourself, especially as you find inner confidence in yourself and discard the meaningless nonsense of those materialistic minded people who are trying to upset you.

25th June: Sun 4° Cancer sextiles Jupiter 4° Taurus ; this astrological aspect becomes exact after nightfall on Saturday evening, however we will start to sense the positively optimistically good energy in the afternoon. The "world" economic situation doesn't look good - and yet inexplicably none of us will care this evening. The powerful Universal astrological energy of Sun and Jupiter has a more powerful affect on us than worries of "money and materialism". That is because "Sun sextile Jupiter" makes each of us believe and feel confident that there is a good future and there is something to look forward to - and indeed there is. [So ignore all the nonsense and fears in the news for they only affect the very greedy materialistic people in the world who lived beyond their means, stole and took from good hard-working people of the world].

There is a very good prosperous period for all hard working people to look forward to in the coming months; when and as soon as we all adapt to live within our means, instead of borrowing money that doesn't exist or buying things that we don't need or that are bad for us. Jupiter in Taurus is making the whole world become more "sensible" and stable towards it's understanding of money.

I'll give you an example - to show the contrast of the decadent selfish western world - where there are people who have borrowed in excess of $300,000 on a mortgage for a home for them to live in - yet they haven't earned that money - and they have no real comprehension of the value of real money - for if they did they would realize that $300,000 could feed and house over 1000 people for 1 year in India - and yet the western world's debt crisis has been caused by greedy people living beyond their means.

Sunday 26th June : Sun 4° Cancer squares Uranus 4° Aries ; as explained above this a part of a series of 3 [1] Sun square Uranus [2] Sun oppose Pluto [3] Sun square Saturn. It will highlight ONE specific aspect of your life that needs urgent changing - because at the moment it doesn't function properly.

Whatever the aspect, on Sunday you will know what it is a Sun squares Uranus - you will probably have an argument with someone or hear difference of opinion which will make you "feel" uncomfortable; something that you want to distance yourself from because it doesn't feel right.

The Sun square Uranus energy will create a situation suddenly where you must let go of something you have been holding onto; if you hold onto it [which many people will be inclined to do] then it will bring more pain until the final aspect of Sun square Saturn on 3rd July 2011 when "destiny" will take it away from you or will disconnect you with something that must change in your life.

Many spiritual minded people love days like today for we will get clear signs from real events in life that will guide us what to do and what not to do; what to change and what to let go of. However, people who hold onto things way beyond their "use by date" will find themselves getting very stressed out. For today is the day to get rid of something that is not only of no use to you but is now poisonous if you keep hold of it any longer. So let go and make you life less stressful - don't fight change because "change" is going to happen whether you like it or not !

27th June: Mars 4° Gemini sextiles Uranus 4° Aries ; surprisingly and suddenly you will hear some news from someone which will make you feel ALIVE. This positively uplifting energy will come through communication, talking or a phonecall that will put a big smile on your face. The connection you make is considered to be your "Uranus" connection in the "7 connections". Today you will know who or what is the catalytic energy of Uranus in your life - that makes you feel positively alive for it will give you such an uplifting boost of confidence that you could change your whole life with the connection and energy you receive today.

28th June: Sun 6° Cancer opposes Pluto 6° Capricorn ; this is part [2] is making a change in ONE specific area of your life; today's Sun oppose Pluto will give you a deep uncomfortable feeling from within you; like wanting to vomit. Something doesn't agree with you anymore and today is the day it feels so awful that you must get it out of your system forever. If you don't - then it will uspet you even more to the point where Saturn - "destiny" - will now have to force you to change on 3rd July 2011. Isn't it better to let go and make the change yourself instead of being forced to change ?

The good news is that when you release yourself from this deep emotional pain that you are holding onto - you will feel relieved - with a sense of newfound FREEDOM. That is because, people hold onto things because they are too proud to concede defeat, however, when a person becomes humble, concede's defeat and lets go - then a person becomes FREE from the personal entanglements; enabling the powerful Pluto in Capricorn energy to bless you with goodness as a karmic reward from the infinite Universal energy now that you are free from your personal egoistic desires.

Friday 1st July: New Moon at 8° Cancer at 08:54 GMT ; will be an extremely changeable day; even if you are prepared in advance, you will find yourself making changes at the very last minute. This isn't just applicable today but the word "unpredictable" will apply in all our lives for next two weeks until the Full Moon we will all be experiencing changeable circumstances which will demand us to be very flexible. All who choose to be stubborn and fixed are going to find the next few weeks exceedingly stressful.

The New Moon at 8° Cancer is indeed happening just after Moon squares Uranus, Moon opposes Pluto and preceeds Moon square Saturn - all of which will combine to bring stress, strain, deep inner frustrations with a goal to bring vitally fundamental necessary changes to everyone's life. This is not just on a personal level, but planetary energies will feel the stressful pulling and squaring of energies during the day; which will push-and-pull upon planet Earth.

The good news is the prior to the New Moon the Moon trines Neptune in Pisces and sextiles Jupiter in Taurus - these aspects will bring a "feeling" that we are all being guided to a new more solid, realistic and spiritually minded future. Whatever happens and however it happens - the spiritually minded people of the world will sense and see that it is "destiny" and the DIVINE will of the Universal Creator of the Universe; all the events will happen to encourage us to change our lifestyle, in order to sustain this wonderful planet for many years to come.

2nd July: Mercury enters Leo ; and transits Leo throughout July with a short period in Virgo before it retrogrades back into Leo in August until it leaves Leo on 9th September. This is going to be a very good period for communicating thoughts, ideas, instructions and getting things done.

The only dilemma of Mercury in Leo is that it brings a stubborn and arrogant know-it-all attitude; and very often "idiots" propel themselves stubbornly at this time to push their opinions and views on others; Mercury in Leo has only one real downside and that it creates intolerance towards anyone or anything. So be careful not get involved in meaningless arguments with others; circumvent situations and detach yourself from wasting precious energy with "idiots" - if they are stupid enough to believe there is only one way to do anything - then they deserve to be left alone - for society is built on the foundations that we are all diverse and different individuals.

The good side to Mercury in Leo is that it will enable you explain yourself clearly to other people; likewise you will find people opening up, introducing and explaining themselves truthfully and clearly to you. An excellent time to start meeting new people - as everyone will find they have the ability and strength to communicate clearly and honestly.

Hence, if you meet someone who is overconfident, arrogant and stubborn - you will hear it in their conversation very early on in the relationship - giving you a sign to walk away; conversely if you meet someone who likes you - then they will have the strength and guts to tell you how they honestly feel about you - and you can be truthful with them too and continue to create a warm friendship.

3rd July: Sun 10° Cancer squares Saturn 10° Libra ; this is part [3] is making a change in ONE specific area of your life that starts on Sunday 26th June 2011. Initially, part [1] identified the problem in your life, part [2] let you know how much it really bothers you and is affecting your inner peace of mind and today part [3] will force you to do something about it - it will be a MAKE OR BREAK day in changing that aspect of your life.

Either you will change yourself OR circumstances and events will force change upon you - either way - it could be a stressful day, moody behavior and even emotional irrationality will precede a big argument - thereafter PEACE will prevail.

There is nothing wrong in admitting defeat or conceding to the truth - that you have made mistakes. Personally, I have made many mistakes [and continue making them] but each time I concede to the fact and humble myself - I feel very relieved and good about myself - just like going to "confessional" box in Church. We are all human and the purpose of today's astrological energy is to guide us to become better people; it is not to hurt us. However, people who don't believe and whom aren't humble will find today a day when they get taken down !

4th July: Venus enters Cancer ; once you have found "love" - you need to be sure you can live with that "love" forever; Venus in Cancer needs sincerity, safety and security in a relationship; therefore from today and until 28th July 2011; you will find many reasons to either like or dislike the energy "at home". It may create many inexplicable emotional moments [positive and negative ones] but the purpose is to find the recipe for emotional harmony and security "at home".

During Venus in Cancer - you will be super-sensitive to be able to sense if someone sincerely loves you or not; is supportive of you or not; and when you truthfully sense their loving and compassionate sincerity it will instinctively bring security and peace into your life.

As explained above - there will be a VENUS pattern of stress-strain-frustration pain and deep inner change in ONE aspect of your life - which I guess will be your "relationship" & "home" aspect. It will come under scrutiny - is it something you are putting-up with OR something you are happy with - whatever the case - during the next 10 days until 13th July when Venus squares Saturn; your "home" and "relationship" aspects will be tested to see if they are truthfully supportive, sincere and loving.

6th July: Mars 10° Gemini trines Saturn 10° Libra ; amidst all the mayhem of 1st week of July, we will have forgotten that Mars in Gemini has been working towards it's powerful confident trine with Saturn in Libra. However, Mars trine Saturn, has been working behind the scenes to bring stability and strength to all the inherent changes. Without the supportive energy of "destiny" and back up energy of "Mars" we wouldn't be able to get through this difficult emotional period.

Mars trine Saturn actually creates a detached energy from anything or anyone that gets in your way; you will find yourself very focused on your destiny, your goals, your ambitions and your plans that nothing can stop you - especially time-wasting idiots; for Mars trine Saturn has no time nor surplus energy to waste. It will create a sense of duty to get the job done perfectly.

Therefore don't be surprised if you suddenly get on with something you have wanted to do for a long time and manage to do it in a very short time - it will now become much easier to do than you even thought possible - that's because today the time is perfectly right.

7th July: Jupiter 5°59 Taurus trines Pluto 5°59 Capricorn ; this is one of the major astrological events of the year because the energy of Jupiter in down-to-earth sign of Taurus trine Pluto in karmic earth sign of Capricorn is bringing stability to a very unstable world.

Throughout all the changing and unpredictable circumstances in all our lives in 2011; Jupiter trine Pluto is ensuring a certain stability is retained in order to make mankind realistic, focused and able to sustain life on Earth for many years to come.

Jupiter is and will be bringing back an old-fashioned work ethic; and that is if you work hard - you will have financial success; if you sit at a computer time-wasting, "communicating" into the ether and do nothing constructive for the world - then you will have failure.

Pluto on the other hand is ensuring that the world will continue to be sustained, protected and survive; in order to do so; many of our current dysfunctional aspects of our lives will NEED to change.

Jupiter-Pluto working together will ensure and guarantee success and progress for the benefit of mankind - and will ensure failure for all selfish destructiveness on planet Earth. I'll give an example, when I lived in London, I commuted in traffic everyday; instead I should have walked - it would have been far healthier for the environment and for me. It was only when I came to Salzburg, Austria where people are much healthier, pollution is considerably less and everyone walks or rides a bicycle that I realized how silly I was in London. Similarly, we are all going to transform and change our ways to become more responsible people to planet Earth and more compassionate to ALL people of the world. For it is compassionate to other people to walk instead of driving a car; for the air is less polluted and the usage/waste of gas/petroleum is and has been the cause of wars in the Middle East. And if we all changed our attitude to the dependency on gasoline/petroleum the world would become a much better and healthier place to live.

The Jupiter-Pluto energy has been changing our lives for the past month; and will continue to aspect well as a Jupiter-Trine-Pluto supportive energy will prevail until February 2012; so don't expect to see sudden and immediate changes; however, you will notice a down-to-earth calmness as life evolves to change our dysfunctional habits. Many people won't even notice how they are changing but by this time next year - we will look back and recognize that July 2011 - was the Summer of change.

8th July: Venus 4° Cancer squares Uranus 4° Aries ; in just the same way that the Sun created 3 stages of change and transformation; now we start with "VENUS" energy; identifying and changing our lives with respect to "relationships & love"; part [1] begins today with this challenging Venus square Uranus, suddenly something will happen that will trigger a "locked door to burst open"; you will find yourself hearing the truth of how someone feels OR you will be telling the truth; something you have kept "locked" away inside you, hidden or put-up-with for so long that now it can no longer be suppressed and the truth now needs to be dealt with.

Today will identify who / what / where is the problem area in your life, part [2] on 9th July will let you know how much it really bothers you and is affecting your inner peace of mind and part [3] on 13th July will force you to do something about it - it will be a MAKE OR BREAK day in changing that relationship or type of relationship in your life.

Have you ever recognized that you always attract similar types of people into your life; if you are happy with "them" - then that's a good sign you are using your energy to attract good people; however, if you are continually attracting the wrong kind of people who keep treating you badly - then it is up to you to change; there is obviously something you are doing wrong that attracts in bad relationships; it could as small as wearing the wrong type of clothes; that repels good people and attracts bad ones; whatever it is that rectification will come in time; meanwhile today's Venus square Uranus - will highlight and put under the spotlight - just one bad area of your "relationships". For example, you may have very good loving relationship with your parents; but you are hopeless in finding a loving partner; or you may have good business relationships but hopeless at friendships; today you will "know" and find the area in relationships that needs work on.

9th July: Mercury 11° Leo sextiles Saturn 11° Libra ; this will create a delightfully good energy; someone will say something that feels "just right"; it will open a door in your mind and thoughts that will give you the wisdom, knowledge and energy to do something that is rightfully destined for you. Mercury sextile Saturn also provides the energy to solve a puzzle you have had; this astrological aspect acts as a "teacher" of lessons; and today you will be given the answer to something that's been bothering you in order that you can now move forward. Today's energy will bring 100% clarity and shine a bright light in whatever area you have been "kept in the dark" by other people. Expect a day of revelations - especially as we have the following aspects too :-

9th July: Venus 5° Cancer opposes Pluto 5° Capricorn ; part [2] in discovering how much a dysfunctional bad relationship has really been bothering you for so many years; Venus oppose Pluto will not allow you to be "at peace" with yourself until you deal with whoever and whatever really bothers you.

If you go and attack them - that will only create more bad karma and negative energy; what you need to do is DEAL with YOURSELF and your own inner emotions. Ask yourself WHY that person bothers you and WHY they have been brought into your life; if you really can't find anything you have done wrong to deserve such a bad relationship - then you haven't learnt the lesson of Karma - and life will create more circumstances to teach you - that it is YOU - that needs to change.

The sooner a person recognizes that it is their problem and acts to change themselves - the problem goes away; however "stubborn" and arrogant people don't give in so easy - so watch out for stressful people around you today for their negativity will be eating them up inside - remember it's "their problem" - just like you have "your problem"; if each person would work on themselves instead of telling other people what to do - the world would be a better place. As Jesus Christ teachers "don't get annoyed with someone who has a splinter of wood in their eye - when you have a plank of wood in yours" !

9th July: Venus 6° Cancer sextiles Jupiter 6° Taurus ; and here brings the excellent surprise of the day; for all the other aspects of the day will be pushing us to let-go of something bad for us; whilst this aspect will bring goodness, optimism and happiness. Venus sextile Jupiter will create energy to make you "feel" good; in the same way we all feel good when the Sun shines again after a storm; likewise today; after any unsettled, argumentative and bad energies; this energy will bring sunshine of happiness into your life. Literally, as one door closes another one opens - BUT - that means YOU MUST close the door to the past first otherwise you won't be able to open the door to the future. People, who think they can outsmart and cheat "destiny" are only fooling themselves; for "life" finds it's ways to balance the books of Karma - eventually.

10th July: Uranus goes stationary retrograde at 4°34' - that's as far as the stressful energies go this year - what a relief until 2012 !

10th July: the closest Uranus 4°34' Aries gets to square Pluto at 5°54 Capricorn ; I listed this as this is one of the major astrological events of the year because...

"10th July 2011 is as difficult as can get - from Today it WILL get better"

"The Wheel of Karmic Fortune Moves Forward"

I don't need to say anymore - that's the headline - and today we will feel, sense and know that a point of no return has been made; the difficulties, frustrations and stagnation many of us have experienced during the past year and which has been getting worse especially over the past few weeks; will now change.

The astrological reason for stagnation is the Uranus in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn; together with the Saturn in Libra square Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Libra approximately opposing Uranus in Aries; forming locked-in situations as indicated from the stressful red lines in the chart above. However, the good news is that Saturn is now moving forward - release tension slowly - and the furthest Uranus-Pluto get to square each other is today; for today Uranus goes retrograde.

The Sun and Venus in Cancer have both been through their stressful tension and therefore looking at the astrological chart for 10th July 2011; I can now say that the worst is OVER - and we can all look forward to a very enjoyable Summer 2011 with an optimistic outlook on life.

Looking and hearing the news - I don't know how or what will happen; but astrologically the recipe for a more enjoyable, content, peaceful and calm life will begin today - let's wait and see what surprises "destiny" has in store for everyone on Earth.

And even though Uranus-Square-Pluto comes around again next year April-July 2012; it won't cause the frustration, stagnation and stress it has caused in 2011 because Saturn will not be in Libra locking and blocking life.

I can see from the astrological charts of Summer 2011; that we will all be doing something DIFFERENT from whatever we normally do during Summer holidays; expect the unexpected; if you normally go on holiday - then this year you won't; if you normally stay at home or can't afford to go on holiday - then this year you will be lucky to find a bargain you can afford.

Even if you are making plans to do something then expect the unexpected - for the opposite will happen - as we all go through a period of "all change" in our lives; if you are single and lonely - then this Summer you can expect to find someone destined and special; conversely for all those who have been in the wrong meaningless dysfunctional relationships then it will be a time of stress and pain as they "get out" of or their relationships "break down" beyond repair. Throughout Summer 2011 - life will be teaching us all Karmic lessons as the "wheel of fortune" is moving forward again and changing people's lives. No-one ever stays at the top & no-one ever stays at the bottom - will be the motto for Summer 2011 - which starts on 10th July 2011 !

13th July: Venus 11° Cancer squares Saturn 11° Libra ; this is the final part [3] to the stressful breakdown of a bad relationship in our lives; and for people who are so delusional and pretend they have "perfect" relationships - then today will bring them down a notch - because no-one has perfect relationships - that's why we are alive on planet Earth for lessons we all need to learn.

Indeed, the type of people who "think" they are perfect, are usually the one's giving other people a difficult time, suppressing and blocking other people's expression; well today those "other people" will no longer - put up with the bullying and intimidation - they will break away to FREEDOM they truly deserve. Hence, as explained above - it will indeed be "all change" - this Summer !

15th July: Full Moon at 22° Capricorn ; Full Moon's are always powerfully emotionally charged; very often they push people to a limit of decision making and make-or-break arguments. This Full Moon is different; even though the Sun is in "emotional" moody Cancer; the Moon is in stable, down-to-earth, unemotional, calm and clinically cold Karmic star sign of Capricorn.

Which means there will be a powerful energy but it will not be "emotional" - it will give us the power to do whatever is CORRECT and DESTINED with a very strong inner strength. When the Moon Enters Capricorn on 13th July - we will all start to feel the powerful and karmic inner strength of this Full Moon. Giving everyone the strength to make good decisions.
