The Purpose and Power of Prayer

Whenever one wishes to communicate with a friend to convey a message one will open one's mouth and talk, either by phone or in person. Likewise and more so "spiritually" - when one needs help, guidance and protection in one's life - EVERYONE is given the gift of the power of speech to PRAY to GOD.

The purpose of prayer is to connect one's mind, thoughts and soul with the Eternal Divine Creator of the Universe and hence forming a strong bond with the Eternal Divine Spiritual Realms of Souls. The more one prays and the more spiritual souls one connects with - the stronger the bond one's soul has with the spiritual world and the more help, strength and guidance one's soul receives.

In understanding the "mystery of GOD" it becomes clear that when you pray - you are actually talking to the energy in the cells of your body which is the energy of GOD. When you convey messages from your brain to the rest of your body - you are creating energy with which to have your own prayers answered.

If you don't believe in yourself, or if you act in contradiction to your prayers, words and thoughts or if you sincerely don't comprehend that the energy of the Divine GOD is within your physical body then you are creating your own blockages and your own energies will act to block the connection with GOD within you.

You are making the fatal mistake that you "think" you are an individual and not part of collective humanity which in turn is part of GOD - For GOD is everything and EVERYTHING IS GOD.

 

Prayer Connects Your Soul to its Root שורש הנשמה

The purpose of praying is to eliminate the blockages within your mind, thoughts and soul in order that you can get access to שורש הנשמה the root of your soul within you - which is the powerful spark of GODLINESS contained in everyone. When that is achieved you will sense the spiritual energy from within as you will feel the profound purity, clarity and calmness.

If you haven't felt this energy then you need to go to a place with pure spiritual energy such as a Church, House of Prayer or the tomb of a saintly holy spiritual soul. A place which offers love, peace and spiritual energy - even if you can't get the words out of your mouth - sitting and thinking "meditating" is the highest form of prayer because it is connecting and strengthening the bond of your soul to the Eternal Divine spiritual realms of souls and with the infinite collective spiritual light of GOD.

 

The Most Powerful Prayer

With my knowledge and experience having traveled and learnt from many different religions; I conclude that the most powerful prayer in the whole world is your own prayer in your own words and in your own language from the depths of your own heart.

No written or traditional prayer from any religion in the whole world compares to a genuine heartfelt prayer that you pray with your own words. Remember always start your prayers with words of thanks to GOD for everything you have good in your life, then follow on by asking for your needs and the needs of other people you know. Praying for other people from a deep and sincere LOVE will always open up your heart and soul to a larger and stronger spiritual connection.

The tradition in Christianity and in the Spiritually cultural India is to pray with one's hands clasped together; the energy contained within the palms of one's hands is indeed the energy from within one's soul, (as explained in the Palmistry section of this website) hence the reason why spiritually sensitive people are always careful to keep their hands clean, using their hands and hand gestures wisely with deep spiritual thought.

Learn to pray with your hands in a prayer position and you will sense the spiritual energy arrive within your soul as you pray for yourself and pray for other people - you will sense a feeling in your hands that your prayers are being answered.

The more you pray the stronger your bond will become with the Eternal Divine Creator of the Universe and with the Eternal Divine Spiritual World of Souls. You will sense and know yourself when your prayers are answered as you will be at peace with yourself and in LOVE with the entire World, with everything and everyone around you, feeling and exuding love, peace and spiritual energy from within your soul through your souls powerful connection with GOD.

The purpose of prayer is to unite and connect your soul with the Eternal Divine Creator of the Universe, with the Eternal Divine Spiritual World of Souls and to create a strong perpetual Spiritual bond of "oneness" of your soul with GOD - the Eternal Divine Creator of the Universe.

 

The Purpose of Life on Earth

The purpose of ALL our lives is to CLEANSE our souls and create a powerful pure connection of our souls in unity with the Eternal Divine Creator, this can only be successfully done when we are using our minds wisely and through the continual giving of thanks to GOD in prayer.

In the same way that physically we eliminate daily all dirt, filth and impurities from our bodies; likewise spiritually - we must actively CLEANSE our mind, thoughts and soul REFUSING to allow-in ALL negative energies, such has hate, anger, jealousy, greed and any such materialistic energies which cause and lead to destruction; in cleansing it then allows our mind, thoughts and soul to be full of pure thoughts of LOVE & COMPASSION.

The secret for spiritual enlightenment throughout all the generations of the past 2000 years has been to find the PERFECT and enlightened spiritual pathway of LOVE and COMPASSION, irrespective of race, colour, and prior religious beliefs, for we are ALL the spiritual children of GOD.

The Holy and Loving Spiritual Souls of All the Spiritually Enlightened

All true spiritually enlightened souls have a deep and profound sense of LOVE and COMPASSION for everything and everyone in the whole Universe as we are ALL created by the ONE ETERNAL DIVINE CREATOR. In the same way that GOD sustains everything and everyone, we, as humble servants of GOD must try our best to emulate the ways of our compassionate and loving CREATOR who sustains and gives everyone the gift of life.

All spiritually enlightened souls are powerfully connected in their physical existence in this world with the Eternal Divine Creator through the Eternal Divine Spiritual Realms of Souls. By being "connected" with EVERYONE and ANYONE whom is spiritually enlightened, loving and compassionate, irrespective of whomever they are and from whatever "religion" one is strengthening oneself, to be connected to GOD - the Eternal Divine Creator of the Universe and the Eternal Divine Spiritual Realms of Souls.

For this reason, it is intrinsically natural that all spiritually minded people go to "Houses of Worship" to pray and go to cemeteries to pray to connect with the good loving, compassionate and forgiving souls, whom will help bridge the vital connection between this physical world and the Eternal Divine Spiritual World.

I must add that if, for whatever reason, you enter a place of worship and feel "uncomfortable" then you MUST leave that place, if it does not offer your soul peace, love and tranquility then it is not a good place for your soul to be. It is a sign that you don't belong there - instead GO and FIND a place of worship where you DO feel full of LOVE, COMPASSION and TRANQUILITY.

Most people find that lighting a candle and praying in the Holy place of Saintly Spiritual Soul one immediately feels ALIVE with a purity and REAL LOVING spiritual energy of LIFE giving energy.

All you need to do is SIT inside a place of worship, or a Tomb of a Saintly soul and you will sense a spiritual peacefulness; there is often no need to say anything, as the spiritual energy will sense that needs of your soul, all the healing, love and compassion energy will envelope you whilst you are inside and will help connect your soul with purity to the Eternal Divine Spiritual Realms of Souls.

The period of REAL change in one's life will see a complete elimination of all hatred, jealousy, destruction and sadness; it will indeed be a time when you will see and feel the fulfillment of spiritual prayer of St Francis of Assisi :-

Where there is doubt, let me bring faith; Where there is despair, let me bring hope;

LORD, grant that I may not seek so much To be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand; To be loved as to love.

Because it is in giving that we receive, It is in forgetting ourselves that we find others,
It is in forgiving that we are forgiven, And it is in dying that we are born to Eternal life.
